  1. I’m wondering – should antioxidants be taken apart from taking the nascent iodine? If so, by how far and should a person limit the amount of antioxidants they’re taking in (via supplemental form) in order to avoid having it cancel out the beneficial effects of the iodine?

    Thank you,

    Claudia Orgill

    1. Nascent iodine is best taken by itself on an empty stomach. However, you need not wait long (10–15 minutes) to take other antioxidants. Antioxidants do not cancel the beneficial effects of iodine in any way. You do not have to restrict your intake either of iodine or antioxidants, as they are both beneficial to health.
